Succulent Vendor for SSE's Boutique Shop - Opening September 30th!
As many of my clients know, I LOVE LOVE LOVE succulents. So it only seems fitting that I have a local vendor who creates beautiful pieces in my boutique shop! I am so happy to introduce you to Sherry Bouma, the designer and owner of Succulent Cottage. Here is a little bio about her, her work, and her inspiration:
Hello, I am Sherry Bouma and I create custom, everlasting, succulent floral arrangements using beautiful artificial plants. I’ve always loved real succulents, however they are very difficult to grow in the Pacific Northwest, so I used my contacts from my floral design background, sourced the best faux product I could find, allowing my arrangements to look and often feel like the real deal! But they are actually better, since no watering is needed!
My creations are perfect for all interior spaces. I’ve created custom pieces for home designers and stagers who don’t want to hassle with watering live plants in staged homes; for clients with vacation homes that experience long periods of time without occupants; and for offices and homes. My pieces are great for supplying beautiful greenery without the worry of watering or the mess of live plants. I love creating custom arrangements in special containers that clients bring to me, or I can find the container that’s perfect for your space and create your one-of-a-kind design!
I enjoy combining orchids with succulents, and also using fun accents like curly willow, moss, and dripping succulent pearls. Succulent Cottage has been the perfect creative outlet for me, and I absolutely love what I do!
