Hello! My name is Katy Warner and I am the proud business owner of Seattle Stunning Events. I have lived in the Pacific Northwest my entire life and graduated from Seattle University. My husband and I love living in the Emerald City and we are the proud parents of two amazing kiddos who melt our hearts each and every day!

 

I decided to take a leap of faith and start SSE after designing and coordinating weddings and events for family and friends. I fell in love with the creative process and found joy seeing the expressions on their faces when their visions came to life. I started to realize that I wanted to turn my passion for planning events into a business and after much support and encouragement from my family and friends…here I am!

I am proud to announce that our business is growing to include more coordinators so that we can help more couples have the wonderful experience that Seattle Stunning Events provides to make your wedding or event stress free!

BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE

My experience as a paralegal at a major Seattle law firm for the past 10 years has taught me the skills necessary to help others in “pressure cooker” situations. I have grown to appreciate being the “go to” person for relieving the stress that comes with planning events.

I have designed and coordinated all types of events and weddings: from grand sit-down weddings with no budget, to small backyard weddings on a tight budget, and many events that fall in between. We are happy to tailor any of our packages to best suit your specific needs. Schedule an initial consultation so we can discuss which package is right for you. Sarah Moran

BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE

I am Sarah Moran and I have worked in the entertainment and customer service industry for the last 17 years, with my start at Disneyland, CA. I have been coordinating everything from baby showers and birthdays to corporate events and weddings for as long as I can remember (if you count the weddings I planned when I was seven for my three younger siblings!). Professionally, I have been in the wedding industry since 2016. Currently, as an event coordinator and planner for Seattle Stunning Events, I have been a mentee of Katy Warner for over a year.

As part of the Seattle Stunning Events team, I really enjoy working with couples to make their wedding vision a reality. I excel at attention to detail, problem solving, and working within a budget. I am passionate about throwing events that create beautiful and lasting memories. Originally from Southern California, I now reside in Bothell, WA with my wonderful husband, Charlie, and adorable poodle terrier, Luna. I enjoy travel, food, wine, live music, working out, list making (is there such a thing as too many lists?) and the PNW!

Angela Cowley

BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE

I’m happy to announce that I’ve joined the Seattle Stunning Events team as a Coordinator & Designer after working with owner and mentee Katy Warner. I graduated from Western Washington University and have over 12 years of experience in the customer service industry, six years of which have been specifically focused in the events industry. Growing up, my love for planning my friends and families’ weddings and parties brought me to the realization that my passion in life is event planning.

I started out in my career working in sales and non-profit roles managing all our client and internal team building and volunteer events. Realizing my love for events, I transitioned to a position with Opus Agency, formerly CRG Events, which allowed me to develop the skill set to balance and execute several large-scale business conference events simultaneously. But, having worked with Katy for the last three years has brought me to my true passion – wedding planning! I’m passionate about the creative process that comes with wedding planning from the conception to the execution, and especially with collaborating with couples to bring their vision to fruition. Your wedding is a day to celebrate your love and, with my event expertise, I plan to make it as stress free and special as you’d always dreamed it would be.
